Al Roker and his wife, Deborah Roberts, paid the tribute after one of their closest family friends' demise. According to the reports of Texas News Today, Anthony Scotto Sr., who was close to Roker's family, left the world at the age of 87 on April 22, 2021.

Anthony Scotto Jr., whose father recently passed away, is one of the good friends of American journalist and actor Al Roker. On the demise of the close mate's father, the news anchor and his wife sent love to Anthony, who is having a hard time now.

Furthermore, the journalist writes, the late Anthony Scotto, Sr. was a true gentleman and kind soul. He always brought warmth and charm to every space.

The Dateline NBC correspondent writes late Anthony Sr. and his wife Marion always spread their arms wide and offered her the love more than their own children. Roberts writes, "We mourn your loss and also celebrate a beautiful life." In the end, she remembers every one of Scotto's family.

Talking about Rocker's married life, he was previously married to Alice Bell. His first wife is a producer in WNBC. The duo tied the knot in December 1984. Unfortunately, their marriage didn't survive.
