Jill Miskelly Had Busta Rhymes Take a Paternity Test

Busta Rhymes has a good relationship with most of his exes at present. But he did not always get along with most of them in the past. In 1999, one of the women he dated, named Jill Miskelly, had him go to court and take a paternity test that confirmed he was the father of his daughter Mariah, who was born in 1998. But even before the test came out positive, he still had been paying $1,200 a month in child support.

Busta Rhymes Also Dated Joanne Wood, the Mother of His Three Children

Busta Rhymes also had to go to court for custody rights over his children against his ex-girlfriend Joanne Wood. They had a long court battle over the issue and Joanne has been vocal about Busta's hatred towards her. In 2006, she revealed that the hatred emerged from the fact that she is a lesbian and not because she is a bad parent to their three children. According to her, Busta was angry because she 'loved a woman more than him.'
