Camila Alves Reveals Her Favorite Family Dinner
Camila Alves finally disclosed what the McConaughey family likes to have for dinner!
When it comes to couple goals, Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves McConaughey set the bar high. After meeting at a bar 2006 and getting shut down twice in the same night, Matthew went on to reluctantly pursue Camila until she gave up to his stubbornness.
Seven years and three kids later, the couple still got the same freshness to their marriage as if they had just met yesterday. McConaughey and his wife Alves have both grown a lot in each other presence, which, in the case of Alves, can be seen from her lifestyle website Women of Today.

Despite growing up in Brazil, Camila barely knew how to cook even the simplest of dishes, and she didn't learn until living in the United States. Alves divulged,
My mom tried to teach me to cook, but she has a very tough personality — she'd just take over.
Times are different now. Matthew's wife didn't just learn to cook her favorite dishes like feijoada (rice and beans cooked with sausage and other meats) or dulce de leche, she also started her blog and began posting recipes for those in need out there.

The lifestyle expert recently appeared in Today and shared her go-to healthy dinner idea for the McConaughey family. The perfect for cold weather dishes were a 'warm kale salad with apples and pancetta' and 'quinoa and shrimp medley.' Camila not only gave out the recipe but also handed down a few useful cooking tips. She even let out that it was harder to feed her seven-year-old kid than Matthew himself.
The Women of Today founder Camila Alves McConaughey told NYPost back in 2016 that her husband Matthew's favorite dish was her mother's feijoada. She also disclosed always keeping a pot of beans on the stove to make sure her family was well fed.

Coming from a large Brazilian family, food has always been a big part of Camila's life. She uncovered to NYPost about her big family in a small town north of Rio saying,
My mom has 13 brothers and sisters, my dad has 14. There was a lot of entertaining and a lot of cooking.
With such bright schemes on foods, it's quite evident that Camila Alves McConaughey knows just how to keep her family well-fed all year long.
