Chris Pratt rose into fame, in not the best ways possible in February 2019, when he got into a verbal interchange with Ellen Page. The Canadian actress was straight to the point when she called out the 'Parks and Recreation' star for attending the Hillsong Church. While you might be surprised on why the gay artist was so angry at Pratt for attending a church, the main reason behind it was the reputation of the church as an anti-LGBTQ.

Pratt even went deep into the Bible and said, 'Despite what the Bible says about divorce, my church community was there for me every step of the way, never judging, just gracefully accompanying me on my walk.' He isn't the only celebrity who attends the Hillsong Church as the likes of Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Justin Bieber even went there in the past. Although the church was initially founded in Australia, it was extended in American states like New York City and Los Angeles. Judging by Pratt's statements, it was too unfair for him to get a tag of a homophobic, just for going to a church.
