The Canadian actress was straight to the point when she called out the 'Parks and Recreation' star for attending the Hillsong Church. While you might be surprised on why the gay artist was so angry at Pratt for attending a church, the main reason behind it was the reputation of the church as an anti-LGBTQ.

Ellen Page said as 'If you are a famous actor and you belong to an organization that hates a certain group of people, don't be surprised if someone simply wonders why it's not addressed.' Furthermore, she went even harsh on Pratt, saying, 'Being anti-LGBTQ is wrong, there aren't two sides,' and the 'damage it causes is severe.'

Since Ellen Page was quite direct to attack Hollywood sensation Chris Pratt and his church, the actor responded calmly yet effectively. He wrote on his Instagram on how the Canadian actress's comments were far from the truth. Moreover, he lauded his church as the place which absolutely opens their doors to everyone.

Pratt even went deep into the Bible and said, 'Despite what the Bible says about divorce, my church community was there for me every step of the way, never judging, just gracefully accompanying me on my walk.' He isn't the only celebrity who attends the Hillsong Church as the likes of Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Justin Bieber even went there in the past. Although the church was initially founded in Australia, it was extended in American states like New York City and Los Angeles. Judging by Pratt's statements, it was too unfair for him to get a tag of a homophobic, just for going to a church.
