Foxx's friend and fellow comedian Kevin Hart also gave an update on his condition during an appearance on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast, revealing that there had been "a lot of progressions" in Foxx's recovery.
Foxx also made statement for first time through his Instagram thanking all.
Foxx, who hosts the musical TV game show Beat Shazam, also thanked Nick Cannon for filling in for him during his absence. In a statement, the show's producers expressed their well-wishes for Foxx and appreciation for Cannon's assistance.
As of now, the exact nature of Foxx's medical condition remains unknown, but fans and colleagues continue to send their love and support for a speedy recovery.
