They First Met at the Set of the Film 'Her'

Joaquin and Rooney met for the first time while they were working on the movie 'Her.' But at the time, they did not date but had a secret crush on each other. Joaquin even revealed to Vanity Fair that he even looked up Rooney on the Internet. He said, "She's the only girl I ever looked up on the Internet. We were just friends, email friends. I'd never done that. Never looked up a girl online."

But they approached each other when they met again for the movie 'Mary Magdalene.' They found many things common between them; most importantly, both of them were vegans.
