Grab all the details on the net worth of the American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson.
Just like for everyone else, 2020 has been a terrible year for Kelly Clarkson with her pending divorce from Brandon Blackstock, her husband of almost seven years. 'I'm so glad I can still connect with all of you, though, in my studio because, as you probably know, 2020 has brought a lot of change also to my personal life,' she talked about her personal life on the debut of the second season of her daytime talk show. 'Definitely didn't see anything coming that came.'
Kelly Clarkson came into fame after winning the first season of 'American Idol,' which earned her a record deal with RCA Records. Since then, she's been incredibly successful in her music career, with her singles topping US Billboard charts and her albums making a record number of sales across the globe. While she's been praised for her achievements by many, at the same time, she's also been the subject of hatred and body shaming too. But she's undergone weight loss now and is in much better shape than before. How did she do that? Let's find out.
Throughout her adult life, Kelly Clarkson had to deal with issues such as body-shaming, body image, and weight. She used to receive lots of negative comments about her body shape, but over the years, she's managed to move on with her life in a positive light. She's often talked about this transition in her life: her road to happiness and a healthy balance. She even released the single 'I Dare You,' which is described as a powerful ballad about self-love and acceptance.

Many people had different speculations about her weight loss, and some even went on to say that she underwent weight-loss surgery. 'The Voice' coach clarified the things in a recent interview with Today to stop the fake news from spreading. 'I had an autoimmune disease and a thyroid problem that started in 2006,' she said. 'I read this book, it's called The Plant Paradox [by Steven R. Gundry, MD], and it might not work for you but it worked wonders for me. I'm, like, 37 pounds lighter.'

Kelly Clarkson was especially not happy with the misinformation that's widespread on the Internet that she takes 'weird pills' for weight loss. 'Fake news that's going around about me is that I've been taking weird pills 4 weight loss or doing weird fad diets,' she wrote on Twitter, dismissing the rumors. 'I eat the same stuff I always have. It's all just made w/different flours/sugars/ingredients.'
According to Good Housekeeping, Kelly Clarkson lost 37 pounds of body weight after she made some diet changes. But she admits that weight loss was not the goal for her to undergo such a lifestyle change and instead claims that it was merely a 'side effect' of her effort to combat her autoimmune disease and thyroid problem. 'I know the industry loves the weight gone, but for me, it wasn't really (about) the weight,' she said in 2018. 'For me, it was 'I'm not on my medicine anymore.'

Kelly Clarkson hates working out, as she once admitted in one of her tweets. 'This just in.... I still hate working out. I'm sweaty, red, and not any thinner . . . people say it's good for your heart.... but people also say red wine is good for your heart,' she wrote on Twitter. 'I mean, I'm just stating facts here people. Who am I to ignore science?! #cardioversuswine.'
