Reportedly, Kim Kardashian is looking for joint legal and physical custody of the duo's four children. According to TMZ, Kanye West is on board with the joint custody, and that both of them are committed to co-parenting their kids.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West share children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. And Kim trusts Kanye in their joint parenting endeavor ahead, as according to Page Six, she believes he is a good father and 'totally trusts him with their kids.'

The distance between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West began to grow on July 4, 2020, when Kanye launched his Presidential campaign. A few weeks later, he held an unusual campaign event in South Carolina. A sobbing Kanye revealed a discussion he had with Kim that they talked about abortion when she was pregnant with their first child.

After some time following the incident, Kim Kardashian expressed her anger at the Kardashian/Jenner family on Twitter, and at one point, she even referred to her mother Kris Jenner as 'Kris Jong-Un.' It was apparent that things were not going well in her life at the time.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West grew apart as time passed by, and they even began living separately for a few months. Many people began to speculate they might get a divorce, and it turned out to be true just recently.
