Lisa Banes, Film and Stage Actress, Dies at 65 10 Days After Hit-And-Run

Film and Stage Actress Lisa Banes, 65, Lost Her Life in a Hit-And-Run case. 

Lisa Banes, renowned for her work in several series, theaters, and movies, is no longer with us. She passed away ten days after she was struck by a scooter. 

Precisely speaking, Lisa was hit by a scooter while crossing a street in Manhattan, as mentioned by NY Times. It happened earlier this month, on June 4. 

Sadly, the veteran actress Lisa Banes is no longer with us.

The 65-year-old star got hit when the scooter rider didn't stop at a red light; the operator drove and ended up hitting Lisa.  

After that incident, Girl Gone star Lisa was rushed to the nearest hospital as soon as possible. She suffered severe head trauma and was admitted to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital, where she died.

Although it has been more than a week, the scooter operator is still on the run. According to Sgt. Edward Riley, a police spokesman, officers are still working their way to catch the rider. 

Ohio native Lisa is survived by her lovely wife, Kathryn Kranhold. As of now, obviously, her spouse is grieving, and the same goes for Lisa's family, fans, and friends. Kathryn also paid tribute to her late lover via Twitter. 

The Cocktail actress stepped into the entertainment industry back in the 80s. Until today she has been part of many films, series, and theater's works. 

Liza earned massive fame and fortune; however, sadly, it all came to an end with her death. But though she isn't here with us anymore, she will always live inside many of us through the several characters she portrayed in different movies and dramas.
