After the immense success of 'See' Apple T.V. Plus is back with it's latest anthology series 'Little America,' the release date for which is set on January 17, 2020. The series is based on the real-life story of eight immigrants living their lives in America. The eight-episode long series portrays the story eight different people and their journeys towards achieving the American dream. Based on the 'Little America' story published by Epic Magazine that originally holds stories of fifteen different people, 'Little America' series is set out to introduce a diverse cast.

While the series does cast a few very well know actors/actresses like Zachary Quinton and Mélanie Laurent, it is also introducing a few lesser familiar faces to the Hollywood industry. One actor, among these more minor known faces, is Haaz Sleiman. We've already covered the basics about Haaz in our previous article. So this one is dedicated towards his relationship. Does Haaz Sleiman have a Wife?

To answer this question, No. Haaz Sleiman doesn't have a wife because the actor identifies as gay. Fans tend to wonder about his partner, but one thing's for certain he isn't welcoming a wife anytime soon. In fact, the actor doesn't have a spouse yet.

The former 'Nurse Jackie' star, despite portraying the character of a Muslim gay 'Mohammed' Mo-Mo' De La Cruz,' once claimed that he was straight. It wasn't until 2017 the actor opened about his sexuality.

Haaz Sleiman Comes Out as Gay

The actor came out to the world as gay on August 22, 2017. As reported by the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs, the hate-related homicides of LGBTQ people were on surge in 2017. Haaz, being gay, felt the need to show his support for the people of the LGBTQ community and thus came out to the world through a twitter video. 

Not only did he reveal himself as "a gay, Muslim, Arab American man" in the video, he also went on to say,

Not only am I gay, but I'm also a bottom. Not only am I a bottom, but I'm also a total bottom, which means I like it up you know where. 

He further went on to warn the hate criminals and said,

If you ever come to me, to kill me just because I'm gay, I will destroy you. I might be gay, and I might be a nice guy, but don't get it twisted, because I will fuck you up.

As if just being gay when hate-related crimes against LGBTQ was on the rise wasn't hard enough for the actor, he was also from a Muslim background.

Haaz Plays Rafiq in 'Little America'

The IMDb page of the series shows that the 43 years old actor plays the character of 'Rafiq.' Since the show is yet to be be released, the actual plot of his role is still not known.

Upon research, however, from Epic Magazine's 'Little America' stories, Haaz might be portraying the real-life story of a gay Muslim Syrian refugee, Shadi Ismail
