He netted his 20th league goal of the season in a Serie A match against Bologna, becoming the seventh player to score 20+ goals in two consecutive Serie A campaigns with the club. He comes after Giuseppe Meazza, Amedeo Amadei, Roberto Boninsegna, Mauro Icardi, Stefano Nyers and Christian Vieri. Sniper to do so.
His 20th league goal came in the 31st minute of the game against Bologna. Initially, his header was pushed onto the crossbar by goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia, but he succeeded in tapping the rebound into the net.

It was the only goal of the game, as Inter won 0-1 against Bologna. The win moves the team eight points clear at the top of the table of Serie A. Antonio Conte's side extended their winning streak to nine league games with the victory, and possibly closer to the 'Scudetto' title.

'Winning is a big step forward for us,' Conte said, as per Bangkok Post. 'Last year, we nearly got there. The closer we get to the finish line, every victory becomes more important.'
