Manchester United Reaches the Semi-Finals of the Europa League

Manchester United has reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League after a win against Granada on Thursday.

Manchester United reach the last four of the UEFA Europa League after the 4-0 aggregate win against the Spanish side Granada CF. The 2-0 win in the second leg at Old Trafford secured the place at the semi-finals, which was a comfortable game for the home team.

In the first leg, Manchester United had scored 2 away goals in the away game. Then, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes scored the goals for the Red Devils. 

The recent second leg saw Edinson Cavani put in an incredible volley into the back of the net at the 6th minute, which was flicked by Paul Pogba's header into his path in front of the goal. The second goal was an own goal by Jesús Vallejo in the 90th minute of the game.

Manchester United has reached the semi-finals of the competition for the second successive season. Last season the Red Devils were knocked out at the last four by the Spanish Sevilla. This time, however, they are eyeing the trophy and are determined to win it anyhow.

The upcoming semi-final for Manchester United will be against the Italian side AS Roma. The other semi-finalists include the English team Arsenal and the Spanish team Villarreal.
