Ben Domenech is the co-founder and the publisher of 'The Federalist,' and also the host of 'The Federalist Radio Hour.' Additionally, he also writes 'The Transom,' a daily subscription newsletter for political insiders, and co-founded the RedState group blog. Not much is known about the early days of his relationship with Meghan McCain as the duo has kept their relationship history fairly private so far. But Meghan has once said that the two 'dated for year' before they got engaged and married.

'[Ben] works in politics and has for a long time so he wasn't as intimidated and he actually met my dad at my brother's wedding for the first time and ended up talking about health care or something very wonky,' Meghan talked about her husband on 'The View' once. 'He's so conservative. He's funny in his own way.' Even the late senator John McCain seemed too fond of his son-in-law: 'Actually, he's a very fine man. I'm very proud and very happy that they're so happy together.'
