While Timothée Chalamet is busy with his upcoming film Dune promotional events, he again grabs the public attraction by wearing simple sweatpants and converse to one of the most awaited events of the year: The Met Gala 2021.

According to Yahoo, Chalamet wore a cropped Haider Ackerman jacket with a Cartier pin and brooch along with his sweatpants and sneakers in this year's Met Gala.

25-year-old Timothée will be the event's co-host, along with Billie Eilish, Naomi Osaka, and Amanda Gorman. In addition to that, Chalamet is also one of the gala's co-chairs, which he says is "stupidly honor," as noted by People.

The theme for this year's awaited event is In America: Lexicon of Fashion. As Timothée is appointed to be one of the chairs, many well-known celebrities such as Tom Ford, Adam Mosseri, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour are also seen in the position.

As the whole world is still facing the Covid-19 pandemic, the annual gala attendees have to take necessary preventions before entering the event. The gala will take place in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and while attending the ceremony, all of them had to have proof of full vaccination and need to wear the mask all the time except while eating or drinking.
