Olivia Rodrigo, a singer-songwriter, just required one album to be named Billboard's Woman of the Year in 2022, joining Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga on the list.

On March 2, the pop star will be named the 2022 Billboard Woman of the Year, according to the business.

As per Billboard, Rodrigo, 18 years old, will be honored with Gabby Barrett, Phoebe Bridgers, Doja Cat, Karol G, Bonnie Raitt, and Saweetie.

"Olivia's meteoric rise to fame is the stuff of pop music legends. Olivia is one of the most authentic and exciting new musicians to emerge on the market in years, thanks to her abilities as a storyteller and songwriter," Hannah Karp, Billboard's Editorial Director, said in a statement.

"She's achieved extraordinary chart success for a debut artist, connecting with listeners across decades via emotionally charged songs about heartbreak, envy, and growing up. We're ecstatic to honor her distinct voice and the immense influence she's had on fans globally in such a short time," She added.

Rodrigo began 2021 with the release of her debut single "Drivers License," which dominated the charts for eight weeks and became the year's first music to reach 1 billion global streams.

In April, the singer released her first album Sour, which broke Spotify's record for most-streamed album by a female singer in a week with over 385 million listens. She'll tour in support of the record this spring, and she's nominated for seven Grammy Awards at this year's ceremony.
