Davidson, who is dating Kim Kardashian, 41, was supposedly "amused" by the 44-year-old rapper's inclusion of a gruesome animated scene in which he decapitates and buries him in the video for "Eazy," and is "flattered" by the whole thing.
"Pete saw Kanye's video and thought it was hilarious," a source told HollywoodLife.

"The whole thing amused Pete, and he was unconcerned about the visual animation or anything else." He honestly thinks it's very nice, and in a strange sense, he's flattered that Kanye cares so much about him. Pete believes it's a great video and has no objections to it."
Despite Pete's approval of the work of art, Kanye's ex-girlfriend Kim had reservations but eventually let it go. "Kim didn't think this was amusing at all," a second insider said, "but she was able to let it go when she saw Pete laughing at it."
"He warned her that if she takes this stuff too seriously, Kanye would get what he wants: a reaction." She's stopped harping on it and is simply letting it go."
Before the release of his shocking new video, Kanye made it clear that he didn't like Pete or his relationship with Kim by sharing now-deleted social media messages that were critical of the comedian.
He also encouraged his fans to call Pete "Kimye," his couple nickname with Kim, if they ran across him in public. Kim requested that he take it down and cease inciting the people to do anything that could threaten her new beau's safety, according to the message.
