According to a statement posted on the singer's official Facebook page, "Christopher Willams, a contrary to social media reports, is NOT in a coma and is in stable condition, resting comfortably. Christopher would like to express his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all of his fans for their prayers and well wishes."

The 54-year-old star is the nephew of jazz legend Ella Fitgerald, and the reported cousin of R&B singer AL B. Willams is best known for his hit songs Talk to Myself, Every Little Thing U Do, and his biggest hit, 1991's I'm Dreamin.
I'm Dreamin was included on the soundtrack of the hit film New Jack City. On Billboard's Hot R&B/HIP-HOP Singles & Tracks chart peaked at No. 1 as per Pop Culture.
Williams' most recent album, Real Man Do, was released in 2001. In Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, he made a brief appearance.
