Robert Kardashian was an American businessman and attorney best known for his role in the murder trial of former National Football League player and actor O.J. Simpson in 1995. He rose to prominence after his team successfully defended Simpson on two counts of murder.

Kardashian was also well-known for his marriage to reality television star Kris Jenner. He died of esophageal cancer in 2003, at the age of 59. 

In the 2016 FX true-crime miniseries The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, actor-director David Schwimmer played Kardashian. Kardashian was the subject of a pilot episode of the comedy series Over My Dead Body in 2017.

Robert Kardashian's first wife was Kris Jenner. The couple got married in 1978. On April 18, 1979, Robert and Kris welcomed their first child, Kourtney Kardashian. 

Kris then gave birth to their second daughter,Kim Kardashian, on October 21, 1980. Subsequently, their third child, Khloe Kardashian, was born on June 27, 1984. The pair also had a son together named Robert Arthur Kardashian, Jr, on March 17, 1987.

In 1991, Robert and Kris divorced. Kris later admitted in her autobiography that she had an affair with former player Todd Waterman while she was married to Kardashian. 

Robert Kardashian's Other Relationship And Affairs

Shortly after announcing his divorce from Kris Jenner, Robert Kardashian began dating Denice Shakarian Halicki. He even proposed to her before breaking up with her in September 1994.

After that, in 1998, Kardashian married Jan Ashley. They dated seven months before Robert proposed to her in Hawaii. Their marriage, however, was annulled. Ashley claimed that Robert's ex-wife, Kris and their children played a significant role in her divorce from him. They divorced in 1999.

After the brief marriage ended, Kardashian began dating Ellen Pierson, a real estate businesswoman. As per The Famous People, In 2003, Robert and Ellen married after a five-year courtship. Meanwhile, Kardashian was diagnosed with esophageal cancer just months before their marriage.

The long-term attorney died of cancer about six weeks after Robert married Ellen. Kardashian died on September 30, 2003, at the age of 59, and was laid to rest in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood, California. Ellen and Robert had no children. 

Ellen Pierson has not dated anyone since her husband's death, and she currently lives a private life away from the media spotlight.
