Rosario Dawson to Portray the First Live-Action Version of 'Ahsoka Tano' on 'The Mandalorian' Season 2

'Briarpatch' actress Rosario Dawson is all set to feature in her third show in 2020 in 'The Mandalorian.' Yes, you heard that right. Just when the 'Star Wars' fans couldn't be more excited for the second season of the live-action drama, it was announced that Dawson would feature on the show.

Rosario appearing on 'The Mandalorian' Season 2 was one good thing out of the very few for the fans that could happen during the COVID-19 pandemic. Interestingly, she will portray the character of 'Ahsoka Tano', first appeared in the 2008 movie 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars.' The role is a fan-favorite one, especially among kids and girls, and there could be no one better than Dawson to show her versatility in the action-packed character. In all the previous animated versions of the shows, Tano used to be voiced by Ashley Eckstein. While the voice itself garnered millions of fans, only time will tell if she could replicate the success and do justice to the part.

According to the reports, Dawson already signed for the show, that is expected to be on the screen on Disney+ in October 2020. Currently, 'The Mandalorian' is on the production stage, which could be delayed amidst of all the CoronaVirus tension.

Rosario Dawson, who is currently dating politician Senate Cory Booker, would have to disguise herself to a complete fighter with an orange-ish skin and white facial markings. The multi-millionaire actress always seemed to have an interest in the epic space-opera role as she replied to a fan-casting suggestion about Ahsoka with a 'Ummmm... yes please?!'
