Disney inherited several movies from Twentieth Century Fox, but the one which people are excited to watch later this summer is Ryan Reynolds' Free GuyTwentieth Century Studios has revealed the new trailer and poster for the Free Guy movie, opening in the theaters on August 13, 2021.

The Deadpool 2 star Ryan plays an NPC who gains sentience in the video game world he calls home, which leads him to fight against other players who make the life of NPC's daily life difficult. Another new trailer and poster for the movie highlights the impressive supporting cast and sheds a little more light on this movie's wacky concept.

Along with Ryan Reynolds, Free Guy also got stars, including Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Taika Waititi. At the same time, it will be directed by Shawn Levy from a story by Matt Lieberman and a screenplay by Lieberman and Zak Penn. Although Disney inherits movies from Twentieth Century Fox, this movie isn't getting a Disney++ release and will instead arrive on the big screen.

Free Guy movie is produced by Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Sarah Schechter, Greg Berlanti, and Adam Kolbrenner, with Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, George Dewey, Dan Levine, and Michael Riley McGrath serving as executive producers.

The film concerns Guy (Reynolds), a bank teller at Free City Bank who lives a simple existence. Unbeknown to him, he is a non-playable character in a videogame called Free City. The game is an open-world videogame. 

Thanks to a program developed by two programmers, Guy becomes aware that his world isn't real. He decides to make himself the hero of this world—all the while facing off against the game developers attempting to shut it down.
