Simon Cowell reportedly ordered six more months of bed rest to fully recover.
Simon Cowell, America's Got Talent's one of the judges, is taking a break from his work following his accident with his new electric bike.
The British media personality reportedly faces six more months of bed rest to fully recover from his back injury which led to surgery.
According to the British media outlet, The Sun, Cowell will not be able to return to his home country until next spring and reportedly too unwell to record a message for this weekend's BGT finale.

A source close to Simon said,
"Simon’s a fighter and fairly gung-ho. Naturally, he thought he’d be out of action for a few weeks and then, if not doing iron man contests, at least be back on the showbiz circuit."
Simon Cowell was already in action following his accident, but his health worsened and was ordered six more months of bed rest to fully recover.

The source further added,
"Cowell had a setback from the surgery to fuse two vertebrae and it has proven more complicated than a standard break."
Previously, following Simon's bike accident, the British media personality broke his back and had to go through a surgery that cost him multiple fusions and a metal rod inside his back.
The scary part was, the talent show judge escaped from being paralyzed by a centimeter. According to his doctors, Simon narrowly avoided damaging his spinal cord.
