Lately, a racism controversy has been surrounding the latest season of 'The Bachelor,' and its host Chris Harrison is in the spotlight. He was reportedly fired from the show after a huge backlash that followed his comments on racism during an interview with Bachelorette alum Rachel Lindsay.

And Chris won't be returning to host the show anymore. He was a part of the series since 2002, for nearly 20 years with the hit reality show.
'I am dedicated to getting educated on a more profound and productive level than ever before,' Chris wrote on his Instagram account. 'I want to ensure our cast and crew members, to my friends, colleagues and our fans: this is not just a moment, but a commitment to much greater understanding that I will actively make every day.'

The firing of Chris from Bachelor Nation was followed by a few other changes regarding the diversity of employees of the franchise. 'There's been big staffing changes on all levels,' The Sun reported. 'More people of color have been hired as producers, editors, sound engineering, administrative positions and everything in between.'

According to Cosmopolitan, ABC is working to make 'appropriate changes' and that there is 'a lot of work is being done behind the scenes to make the appropriate changes and proper moves going forward with the franchise.'
