The British Royal family are reportedly happy after they learned that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their second child.

Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle lately announced that they were expecting their second child. And the British Royal family are 'delighted' to hear the news, according to a recent piece by Pop Culture.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle had their first child, son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 6, 2019. 'We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother,' read a statement released by the couple. 'The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.'

Through a statement from Buckingham Palace, the representatives for the Royal family revealed that they were thrilled to hear the news. 'Her Majesty, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales, and the entire family are 'delighted' and wish them well,' read a statement released by the palace.

The news of Meghan and Prince Harry expecting another child comes just a short period after the actress wrote a piece for New York Times. In the article, she revealed the miscarriage she had in July 2020. 

'I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second,' she recalls the sharp pain she felt in her stomach as she was changing her son Archie's diaper.

Meghan Markle also went on to point out the fact that even though many women experience pregnancy loss, the problem is not a regular topic of public discussion. 'The conversation remains taboo, riddled with (unwarranted) shame, and perpetuating a cycle of solitary mourning,' she wrote in the article.
