When Julie dated Moonves, he was still married to his ex-wife Nancy Wiesenfeld, but the couple lived in separate cities. In April 2003, Nancy filed for divorce, and while speaking about their split, she said she was uncomfortable coming to New York as everybody knew about Les and Julie except for her.

On December 23, 2004, Chen and Moonves got married in Acapulco, Mexico. At the time of their marriage, Celebrity Big Brother host Chen was 34, while her husband, Moonves, was 55.

Leslie Roy Moonves, aka Les Moonves, was born on October 6, 1949, in New York City. Moonves rose to prominence in 1990 after he became president at Lorimar. After giving three years to that company, he became the CEO of Warner Bros. Television.

After several sexual misconduct allegations were filed against him, Moonves decided to quit his job as chairman and CEO in September 2018.

Apart from his career, Leslie has been married twice. As mentioned above, his first marriage was with Nancy Wiesenfeld, and the duo lasted for 25 years. In addition, they also shared three children.

To support her spouse, Chen first stepped down from her role as a co-host on CBS' "The Talk." Later she shared a statement on Twitter, describing her husband as "kind," "decent," and a "moral human being."

Chen also showed her support for her better half by taking up his name for the first time since they shared their vows. During a live broadcast of "Big Brother" in 2018, the TV personality signed off saying, "I'm Julie Chen Moonves. Goodnight," as mentioned by Cheat Sheet.
