Tiger King Star Erik Cowie - Cause of His Death Revealed
On September 3, Tiger King star Erik Cowie was discovered dead in a Brooklyn apartment.
Erik Cowie died of acute and chronic alcohol use.

As per The Sun, the zookeeper died of "acute and chronic alcohol use," who worked on the show for Netflix star Joe Exotic. A large bottle of vodka was there at the scene of his death.
Cowie has previously struggled with alcoholism and has denied being a drug addict. He previously stated that it was "at the end," according to TMZ. [his] rope "drunkenness"
He was also kidnapped earlier this year in Oklahoma for a DUI after a car accident.

Cowie entered a guilty plea but did not appear in court for sentencing in May. At the time, an arrest warrant was issued.
At the height of the Covid-19 in 2020, "Tiger King" captivated audiences. The real name of Joe Exotic is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, who ran a zoo in the docuseries.
Exotic was convicted in a murder-for-hire plot to assassinate his rival, Carole Baskin, and is currently serving a 22-year sentence.
Cowie even testified against Exotic, who is accused of abusing and killing some of his animals.
