Tommy DeBarge, a musician a member of the famous DeBarge family, has died, according to the family member who spoke to TMZ. DeBarge was 64 years old.

As per News Break, DeBarge, a member of the R&B/Funk music group Switch, passed on Thursday. The exact cause of death is unknown.
DeBarge's daughter, Marina DeBarge, told TMZ that he had kidney and liver disease. DeBarge was also said to have battled COVID-19 earlier this year.

DeBarge was admitted to the hospital a few weeks ago, where he passed away. Marina said her father never complained about his illness or pain. Further, she stated that she last spoke with DeBarge on Wednesday.
Bunny DeBarge, Tommy's sister, responded to her brother's death in a Facebook post, sharing a video of a still image of Tommy DeBarge playing the guitar.
"Tommy has frown wings," she wrote.
Social media also reacted quickly to the news of DeBarge's death.
In the 1970s, DeBarge and his brother Bobby DeBarge achieved musical success with Switch on Motown Records. The band's single "There'll Never Be" reached the R&B top 10.
