I'm very proud of myself. There used to be times when I couldn't get right out of these troubles and got off track, but I believe I met the right woman to help me push through my path and keep me focused at all times.

The couple first met through one of Derrick's cousins. His Cousin Kendrick introduced April to Derrick. They initially interacted on the phone. Then they started dating, and the duo got married on June 17, 2017, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
