Jake Paul is Ready To Fight Former UFC Welterweight Champ Tyron Woodley.
The social media influencer turned pro boxer Jake Paul to get back in the ring as he takes on former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in a boxing match. As per Mike Coppinger of The Athletic and MMA Fighting, the pair have agreed in principle to a deal.
Several MMA fighters had called out the brash YouTuber after Paul knocked out Ben Askren in April. Woodley was among those fighters calling for the fight, and now the battle is agreed.

Both the fighters had hinted about the fight on Monday on their social media stories. Because of that, many thought the bout was a done deal before the report. But, Paul revealed the fight would be made official at 10 a.m. eastern.
Paul wrote on his Instagram saying that "This will be his hardest fight he had, the toughest opponent by far, the most known opponent." He even said they would break another boxing PPV record. In an interview with TMZ, Woodley previously expressed his desire for the matchup.

The 24-year-old Jake Paul is 3-0 as a professional boxer and coming off a KO win over Askren, a close friend of Woodley. In addition, he also knocked out Nate Robinson in the second round, and TKO'd YouTuber, AnesonGib.
Woodley (19-7-1 MMA, 9-6-1 UFC) is currently ranked No.11 in the latest USA TODAY Sports/MMA Junkie welterweight rankings. The former UFC champion ended his run in MMA's biggest promotion following an eight-year run.
39-year-old Woodly's last fight in UFC was in March, a submission defeat to Vicente Luque. Overall, Woodley boasts a 19-7-1 professional MMA record.
