"I so wanted to be pregnant and have a baby, so then when I finally got pregnant, I wanted to tell the world immediately. Obviously, I lost the baby, which was devastating after announcing it. The good news is I was able to get pregnant again and had two beautiful, healthy children. But losing a child, there's nothing good about that," White opened up about the tragedy as per Showbiz Cheatsheet.

When Vanna White and her ex, George, were together, they expanded their family with two kids. Yes, they were blessed with two children. 

The couple welcomed their first child Nikko Santo Pietro, born on June 10, 1994, in the United States. He is now 27 years old and is a full-time chef.

The duo welcomed their second child Gigi Santo Pietro in 1997 in the United States. She is now 25 years old and is a photographer by profession.

After divorcing George Santo Pietro, Vanna White moved on with John Donaldson in 2012. Donaldson owns a construction development company in California.

In an interview with People, White recalled the incident "It was May 17, 1986. The second I heard about it, I fell to my knees. It was just devastating."

"You have to take their support and try to be strong. It's so hard, but you just have to think, 'What would they want me to do? I'm a Christian and have always had my own personal relationship with God. I don't preach about it, because everyone's entitled to their own beliefs. But I pray. I pray every day," White said when she turned to family, friends, and fans.

The host stated that her fans helped her cope with the tragedy. "I heard from so many people who had shared the same experience of losing someone instantly in an accident, and that really helped me," she said. "I didn't feel like I was alone. Because when something like that happens, you immediately think you're the only one."
