'Moon Knight' Actor Gaspard Ulliel Dies At 37 Following A Skiing Accident
Gaspard Ullliel, a well-known French actor and the star of Marvel's upcoming series Moon Knight, has passed away. The father of one was just 37-years-old.
The award-winning actor was taken to the hospital on Jan.18 after a skiing accident in the Alps in southeastern France, and he died from the injuries on Wednesday, Jan.19, according to the office of the Prefecture of Savoie.
Gaspard Ullliel has passed away at the age of 37.

In a statement, the La Rosiere Ski Resort's media representative said of the circumstances, "At 4 p.m. Tuesday on the Blue Slope, Gaspard Ulliel and another skier collided. Following the collision, ski patrol rescue and the in-house resort doctor were dispatched to the site... The events are being looked upon the Albetville police."

Ulliel's acting career took off in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with his breakthrough performance in the 2007 film Hannibal Rising as the main character. His popularity further rose with projects such as A Very Long Engagement and Saint Laurent.
Ulliel was equally popular in the modeling field and was the face of the Chanel men's fragrance Bleu de Chanel. Also, the French native had graced the cover of several magazines, including French Vogue, alongside supermodel Doutzen Kroes.
Ulliel will be next seen as Anton Mogart/Midnight Man in Marvel's miniseries Moon Knight, which features Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke in the main role. The trailer of the show was released just a few days ago, and the show will premiere on Disney+ on March 30.
