What would Phoebe Buffay be doing during self-isolation?
'Friends' actress Lisa Kudrow reveals what she thinks her famous character Phoebe Buffay would do during her quarantine period.
In a brand new interview with Sunday Times, Kudrow recalled her days on the popular NBC sitcom. The 56-year-old actress imagined about how she and her on-screen partner, Mike Hannigan, portrayed by Paul Rudd would live in self-isolation if they were to begin a family.
Kudrow told the paper, "I feel like if they'd had kids she would be militarist about creating art. So their place would be overrun with huge, outlandish projects."

The actress even pictured how 'Friends' might be different now if the show hadn't made its debut back in 1994.
"It would not be an all-white cast, for sure. I’m not sure what else. But, to me, it should be looked at as a time capsule, not for what they did wrong. Also, this show thought it was very progressive. There was a guy whose wife discovered she was gay and pregnant, and they raised the child together? We had surrogacy too. It was, at the time, progressive."
The actress also explained how she and her husband IRL, Michael Stern, along with their son, Julian, 22, are quarantining at home. It turns out, self-isolation in Los Angeles isn't too different from what she was doing before the global pandemic rose.

Kudrow admitted she doesn't carry any complaints as she's in "fortunate circumstances." In fact, prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, she'd spend her weekends inside the home anyway.
Like several Hollywood stars, Kudrow's acting career was put on the hold owing to the coronavirus outbreak bringing massive shifts in release dates and postponing live events. The 'Friends' group weren't spared either as their much-anticipated HBO Max reunion is postponed to Thanksgiving.

Kudrow added, "No audience has seen us together since the show was over. We will reminisce, talk about what was going on behind the scenes. It’s not us playing our characters. It’s not an episode. It’s not scripted. It’s six of us coming together for the first time in I don’t know how long."
Despite the delay, Kudrow said she was "really looking forward" to the reunion. She also lauded her co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc for recalling "everything" of the hit sitcom. In March, Courteney Cox admitted she was binge-watching the entire series because she couldn't remember much of the plot.
