Learn all the details you need to know about the scandal of former American television personality and political activist, Josh Duggar.
Josh Duggar is best known for his appearance on the reality TV shows like '19 Kids and Counting' and 'Counting On.' He was also the executive director of FRC Action, a lobbying PAC sponsored by the Family Research Council. He is the eldest child of the American real estate agent and reality personality Jim Bob Duggar.
Josh Duggar was involved at FRC Action from June 2013 to May 2015, when the people found out that he molested many underage girls, including four of his sisters. He was between 14-15 years of age when he committed those acts. Further reports emerged that Duggar molested five girls between 2002 and 2003 and that he was also a member of the website Ashley Madison. His misconduct was named one of the '10 Big Scandals of 2015.' Below we compiled the details of the scandal, so you can learn about it in depth.
According to a complete timeline listed by The US Sun, a 33-page report made by the police reveals that Jim Bob Duggar told police that Josh Duggar fondled the breasts and genitals of several young victims while they were asleep in the Duggar family home in March 2002. Additionally, the other four or five incidents were also reported.

Jim recalls Josh telling him about touching one of his victims while they were asleep on a sofa in July 2002. Next year, in 2003, Jim and his wife Michelle learn that two more incidents of Josh molesting an underage girl occur. They decided to treat Josh, and he went through a Christian counseling program from March 17 to July 17.

In the counseling program, the church elders made Josh shave his head in public to repent. According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, the victims were there too and were publicly threatened by the elders with the head shaving. But they actually did not have to go through that, thankfully.
The Duggar family was fearful of Josh's molestation scandal revealed to the public, and they tried every way to cover it up. Josh was in a relationship with Anna Duggar at that time, and the family tried to push forward their courtship into marriage. Both Anna and Josh's families got the two married in an attempt to separate Josh from the other children, so the problem would not happen again.

Many fans speculate that the Duggars purposefully married Josh to Anna at a young age to get him out of the house. After the marriage, the children within the group were no longer allowed to spend time with Josh, either one-on-one or alone. Several months after the molestation allegations were revealed, Josh admitted that he cheated on his wife and was again sent to a Christian-based rehab program.
