Gorga also found enough exposure to prosper on her musical career, thanks to the reality show. She released her single, 'On Display', on the iTunes dance chart selections on August 13, 2011. In addition to that, she also published her book, 'Love Italian Style, The Secret of My Hot and Happy Marriage' on September 17, 2013.

The gorgeous diva also put her hands into endorsements, introducing a jewelry line on HSN TV. The TV personality opened a new restaurant named 'Gorga's Homemade Pasta and Pizza' in East Hanover, New Jersey, with her on-screen colleague, Teresa Giudice, in May 2017. However, they closed the cafe in January 2018, in search of a larger space and new management.

Furthermore, she also opened a clothing boutique named 'Envy by Melissa Gorga' in Montclair, New Jersey. Unfortunately, the business venture couldn't work out as it was temporarily closed after Gorga had a dispute with her business partner, Jackie Beard Robinson.

The 40-year-old diva, Melissa Gorga joined 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' in its third season as the leading cast member in 2011. Moreover, she, alongside Teresa Giudice appeared on Bravo's three-part television special, comprising the inside story of the two families as they deal with Gorga's sister's sentence to prison.

The attempt to sell the house was a dramatic saga in itself as they cut the price to $3.29 million around a year later. Once again, the effort went useless as Gorga and her husband delisted their villa in February and re-listed in April 2019 for $2.948 million. However, after repetitive failure to sell, the duo decided to take their villa off the market.

Gorga's unsold 9100-square-foot villa comprised of six-bedroom and seven-and-a-half-bathroom home. The family of five currently reside at their new 3500-square-foot waterfront home on the Jersey Shore, after buying it in early 2019.
