Actress Indira Varma has recently joined the cast of DIsney+'s new Star Wars series about Obi-Wan Kenobi.
According to Deadline, Indira Varma was added to the cast of the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The actress, best known for her roles on 'Game of Thrones' and 'For Life,' will be joining McGregor and Hayden Christensen on the new series.

There is no information available on what character Indira will be playing in the new series. The show takes place between the events of 'Revenge of The Sith' and 'A New Hope' in the Star Wars canon. McGregor will be taking the titular role, while Christensen will be returning to his role as Darth Vader.

Indira Varma played the role of Ellaria Sand, the Paramore of Prince Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascal), on the hit HBO series 'Game of Thrones.' Ellaria had a few daughters with Oberyn, who were known as 'the sand snakes.' They posed a threat to the Lannisters, but they were eventually killed by Cersei's machinations.
Besides, Indira Varma has also made other notable TV appearances. She appeared in eight episodes of 'Carnival Row' playing Piety Breakspear and five episodes of 'This Way Up' as Charlotte.
