According to a report by ABC 11, Robinson and his girlfriend, Cecily Aguilar, allegedly dismembered and buried Guillen's remains near the Leon River in Belton, Texas.

But Aguilar is constantly changing her story about the incident, and she has been charged with felony alteration and mutilation to impede an investigation. Robinson, after Guillen was killed, was put under the watch of an unarmed escort, but he was able to escape from there. Afterward, he was able to obtain a gun and shot himself dead.

The Army's Criminal Investigation Command has also been investigating claims that Vanessa Guillen was sexually harassed. The family of the victim, Vanessa, has told that Robinson is believed to be connected to Guillen's sexual harassment. As per details given by Heavy, Vanessa's family believes that Robinson was the one who walked in on Guillen while she was showering.

'I take allegations of sexual harassment very seriously, and we are conducting a thorough investigation,' said Colonel Ralph Overland, the commander of the 3rd Calvary Regiment. The Guillen family's attorney Natalie Khawam has said that Guillen was suffered sexual harassment two times. One case was the walking in of her superior when she was showering, and another case was when someone made vulgar remarks toward her in Spanish. Guillen's mother, Garcia, has also said that the sergeant who walked in on her showering was also the one who followed her while she jogged.
According to a report by KVUE, Vanessa Guillen's sister, Mayra, had met Aaron Robinson once, and she felt that something was not right about him. She said that when the search for Vanessa was still underway, Robinson had laughed in her face.
