"This eye isn't blinking, as you can see. On this side of my face, I'm unable to smile. He stated, "This nostril will not move."
According to Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome happens when a shingles epidemic damages the facial nerve near one of your ears. It can result in a severe shingles outbreak, facial paralysis, and loss of hearing in the affected ear.
"For people who are disappointed by my cancellations of the upcoming gigs, I'm simply physically incapable of executing them," he explained. "As you can see, this is a terrible situation. This is something I wish wasn't the case. But my body is clearly telling me that I need to calm down."

Bieber says he's performing facial workouts to help his face "return to normal," but he's unsure how long it would take.
"I'm going to use this time to simply rest and relax so that I can get back to 100 percent and do what I was born to do," the singer stated. "It'll be OK." And I have faith in God and have hope."
Bieber recently canceled concerts in Washington, D.C., and Toronto and was scheduled to perform in New York next week and Los Angeles in July.
His wife Hailey Bieber was hospitalized just a few months ago, in March, due to a minor blood clot in her brain. A little hole in her heart allowed a clot to go to her brain, causing a mini-stroke, according to the 25-year-old model.
TMZ first claimed on Saturday morning that Hailey Bieber was hospitalized this week with a brain ailment.
The supermodel was hospitalized at a Palm Springs hospital after having a "medical emergency" that doctors suspected was COVID-related, according to the publication. The disease "changed the way she moved, and the symptoms are common for much older people," according to TMZ.
Hailey was released from the hospital shortly after, and she addressed the news on her Instagram Stories with a detailed medical diagnosis. "I was sitting at breakfast with my husband on Thursday morning when I began to get stroke-like symptoms and was transported to the hospital," she wrote.
"They discovered that I had a little blood clot in my brain, which had caused a temporary lack of oxygen, but that it had cleared on its own and that I had recovered totally within a few hours. Despite the fact that this was one of the scariest experiences of my life, I'm now at home and doing well, and I'm grateful to all of the wonderful physicians and nurses who cared for me!"
"Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern, as well as for all the support and love," Bieber added.
