Justin Bieber Performed for the First Time Since Being Diagnosed With Ramsay Hunt Syndrome

As per Daily Mail, Justin Bieber has returned to the stage, and his wife, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, is by his side.

The 28-year-old played shirtless at the Lucca Summer Festival in central Italy on Sunday; his first live performance since the Justice World Tour's U.S. leg was canceled on June 10.

"One thing I know for sure is you can't keep this guy down," Hailey Baldwin Bieber, 25, captioned an Instagram story from backstage at the show.

After being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which led him to have partial facial paralysis, Bieber decided to cancel the balance of his U.S. tour.

Furthermore, Ramsay Hunt syndrome can induce hearing loss, which must be treated as soon as possible so that it does not become permanent.

"In light of Justin's ongoing recuperation, the remaining US Justice Tour gigs scheduled for June, and early July will be rescheduled," stated Justice World Tour's official Instagram account.

Justin posted a video on Instagram outlining his condition.

"Hello, everyone. This is Justin. I just wanted to give you an update on what's been going on "He stated. "Obviously, as you can likely tell from my face, I have Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which is due to a virus that damages the nerves in my ear and my facial nerves, causing paralysis in my face."

"This eye isn't blinking, as you can see," he added before winking his other eye. "I can't grin with this side of my face because this nostril won't move, thus this half of my face is completely paralyzed."

Bieber then addressed his "frustrated" followers about postponing his future concerts.

"I'm just not physically capable of executing them," he explained. "As you can see, this is a terrible situation. I wish this weren't the case, but my body is telling me that I need to slow down, and I hope you understand. I'll be taking this time to rest, relax, and get back to 100 percent so I can do what I intended "to do."

Hailey had her health scare earlier this year, claiming in March that she was enjoying breakfast with Justin Bieber when she "started getting stroke-like symptoms and was brought to the hospital."

Doctors determined that she had "suffered a very little blood clot" to her brain, resulting in a "minimal lack of oxygen." She explained that her body could pass the blood clot on its own, and she "recovered entirely within a few hours."
