Dawson revealed his return in a new video that will be part of The Haunting with Ryland Adams, his new series. The show will follow the two as they go on ghost hunting adventures in their new Colorado home.
Dawson acknowledged the incident in the first video, saying he "wanted to level the internet, and I didn't want to be part" of the online community at first. "I felt like it ruined my life," he explained.
This star stated that he believes being canceled benefited him, declaring that the time spent unplugged enabled him to do more personal development. "I think part of me was upset because I was like, I've grown so much, and now I'm being canceled because of things from the past, and that's not me anymore," Shane recalled.
Dawson also mentioned that he "can't concentrate on what other people think of me."
Shane Dawson had a successful YouTube career in the past. He began making videos when he was 19 years old in 2008 and had over 500 million views just two years later.
This talented YouTuber had over 20 million subscribers, wrote two books, and was the talk of the town. That is until previous remarks he made were resurfaced on the internet.
