One of the actors who played an essential role in the series was the English actor, writer, and comedian Joe Thompson who played the part of 'Simon Cooper.'

The actor rose to fame when he got casted in the role of 'Simon Cooper' in the award-winning E4 sitcom 'The Inbetweeners'. The program spanned for three series, producing 18 episodes, between 2008 and 2010. The show's success led to two film adaptations, 'The Inbetweeners Movie' (2011) and 'The Inbetweeners 2' (2014), both achieving box office success.

Simon and Tara go through a lot of gross and seemingly weird series of events in the show, making the audience laugh. The on-screen pair started dating on 'The Inbetweeners' set while playing 'Simon Cooper' and his short-lived girlfriend, 'Tara Jones'.

The couple started dating in the year 2010 and went strong as a couple for seven long years and got engaged in 2017. Having more luck with their off-screen love, the couple had moved in together in the City back in 2012.

"We live in an old-fashioned 1960s building in the Barbican, and it is like stepping into a time warp," Joe said in an award show. The couple was spotted around London on multiple occasions hand in hand, which was quite cute to look at. While talking to Cosmopolitan magazine, the actor confessed,

I always try to impress my girlfriend Hannah by any means I can, and I'm very protective about her. I've tended to have some serious, long-time monogamous relationships.

He continued: "I'm such a romantic. I'd only ever have sex with one girlfriend at a time. I've never had cojones to be a player, and I don't know any men who do. Some imply these lots of girls, and never see them again after one night, but I don't know that's true."

The popular series 'The Inbetweeners' wrapped in 2010; Joe went on to star in the two movie spin-offs that preceded, without Hannah by his side. However, that one episode was enough to create a spark between the pair, which went on strong for years.

According to online source UniLad, the actor, 33, got down on one knee and proposed his 29-year-old girlfriend with a ring, after seven years together.

As per now we only know that Joe and Hannah are only engaged to one another; the details of them getting married is still not out there. 

Does Joe Thomas Have children? 

We all know how most celebrities have kids or adopt kids before they officially get married. However, Joe and Hannah do not have kids of their own neither they plan on adopting or having any children.

However, the other three lads from the show have a family. Simon Bird ('Will Mckenzie'), James Buckley ('Jay Cartwright'), and Blake Harrison ('Neil Sutherland') are all married with beautiful children. Joe is taking the same route, engaged to his long term girlfriend; he is set to build a beautiful family of their own.

In 2017, Joe, now 34, landed a role in 'White Gold', a BBC2 comedy about double-glazing salesmen in the 80s, alongside fellow Inbetweener James Buckley.

The actor, after the popular sitcom, went on to star in many prominent movies through which he is known as one of the good actors in the industry.
