The 73 years old actress, even after being in numerous publicized relationships throughout her life, remains unmarried. Pam dated many famous guys and also came close to almost getting married in 1998 to music executive Kevin Evans. But the engagement ended before it reached the next step.
Pam's romance with famed basketball player Lew Alcindor happened before Lew converted to Islam. A little while after the ex duo met, Lew Alcindor became Muslim and changed his name to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Kareem did propose to Pam but presented a demand and an ultimatum, and she too had to change her religion or else he'd wed a Muslim bride prepared for him. Grier revealed Kareem's proposal in her memoir 'Foxy: My Life in Three Acts.'
On Pam's 21st birthday, Kareem called her and said,
If you don't commit to me today, I'm getting married at 2 this afternoon. She's a converted Muslim, and she's been prepared for me. Once you become Muslim, you might appreciate another wife.
Pam - who is worth $10 million - obviously turned down the offer and remained single until she met Freddie Prinze.
Pam Grier and Freddie Prinze met in 1973 while promoting one of her blaxploitation movies Coffy. Instantly falling for the comedian, Pam went far enough to consider a marital life with Freddie. Yet again, an obstacle arose- this time, it wasn't religion; it was drugs.
Pam Grier dated Freddie Prinze prior to his death in 1977.
Coke was becoming a daily thing for Freddie and the rest of his friends, but I couldn't accept it.
The Coffy star added how Prinze was paranoid when she would refuse to do drugs with him and deliberately forget protection during intercourse confessing,
I'm trying to get you pregnant. I love you, and I'm afraid you may not marry me.
The pair eventually broke up when Pam wouldn't mother Freddie's child due to his addiction. Nonetheless, they remained friends until Freddie shot himself in 1977. Yet not before he introduced Pam to Richard Pryor.
Pam Grier met Richard Pryor through her former boyfriend, Freddie. Friendship and romance between them, however, wouldn't flair up till they were both casts in 'Greased Lightning' the same year Freddie killed himself.

Richard, like his late friend Freddie, was also hooked on drugs. Richard confided in Grier, stating that he wouldn't be funny without drugs. This time around, Pam managed to clean up Richard's act and come face to face with his fears.
Alas, Richard's sobriety couldn't last for more than six months. Pam gave up on this relationship when Pryor married a different woman during their real togetherness.
The Jackie Brown actress also dated Don Cornelius for a brief moment in the 1970s. Don Cornelius was the host of an American music-dance television program that first aired on October 2, 1971. Unfortunately, the information about this particular brief stint remains under wraps.
Pam was also romantically linked with one of America's great basketball player Wilt Chamberlain. Righter after her ties with Don Cornelius, Grier had an on and off relationship with the hoops player before the romance struck its final chord.
Pam Grier gave to love one last shot with Kevin Evans before finally calling quits to the whole so happy together game. Pam met 13 years younger Kevin when she was about 46 years old.
Pam Grier's ex-fiance Kevin Evans was 13 years younger than her.
While conducting business dinner at the Nikko Hotel in Beverly Hills, Kevin spotted Pam and immediately approached her. Upon further conversation, both discovered that they had once lived in the same house, and Kevin had slept in the very bedroom that Pam did. Almost two and a half years later, the twosome was engaged to be married and even planned on having a kid together.
Too bad, the engagement ended a year later before Pam and Kevin could ever enter into holy matrimony.
Regardless of all her failed relationships and other personal problems, Pam Grier endured and emerged victorious in the end.
