As per Celebsuburb, in her memoir, Sunny confesses. Sunny noticed Emmanuel and his friend walking into a bagel shop around the corner after the church ceremony.

Soon after, Emmanuel joined them in line. When Sunny eventually spoke to Emmanuel, he was confused and asked why she was wearing sweatpants to church. Sunny claims that her spouse was uninterested in her at the time.

Emmanuel later told her that he would give a party in a few days and invited Sunny, providing his phone number. Emmanuel greeted Ms. Hostin but didn't remember her when she arrived at their flat a few days later.

Sunny claimed they met at church, but after investigating further, he discovered they met in a bagel store. The pair married after two years.
