Family Guy is the most beloved and the most hated animated TV series in the history of television. The show Family Guy first aired in 1999 and ever since the show’s been a very controversial one with its offensive and over the top jokes. The series holds the dubious honor of being canceled on TWO separate occasions.

Now, the producer of Family Guy Gary Janetti’s announced a new animated version of Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle will have supporting roles in a British royal family satire that will make its debut on AT&T Inc’s HBO Max streaming video service, the company said on Tuesday.
Family Guy is a show full of offensive jokes and satires, which explains the two times cancelation. And now the creator of such a controversial show is making a series based on the British Royals.
On January 21, it was announced that HBO Max has greenlit The Prince, a satirical animated comedy show about the royal family told from the perspective of six-year-old Prince George.

News of the series comes on the heels of the story that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be stepping back from their roles as senior members of the royal family. This marks the second series that Janetti has in the works at HBO Max.
The series, entitled “The Prince,” was initially inspired by Janetti’s Instagram that parodies what 6-year-old Prince George could be thinking about current events and hot topics.

Janetti will voice Prince George, with other members of the voice cast including Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry, Condola Rashad at Meghan Markle, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton, Tom Hollander as both Prince Philip and Prince Charles, Alan Cumming as George’s butler Owen, Frances De La Tour as Queen Elizabeth, and Iwan Rheon as Prince William. 20th Century Fox Television will produce.

“I’m thrilled to be working at HBO Max and bringing them yet another series about a family ruthlessly fighting for the throne,” said Janetti.

According to Deadline, the animated show will follow the future King as he grows up a modern-day prince, spilling the royal “tea” on his family, followers, and the British Monarchy along the way.
Janetti is pretty popular on Instagram, and the producer doesn’t hold back to call out both the royal family and how the media depicts them in the saltiest way.
Janetti’s account and George’s imagined insights—is at its best when the writer is chipping away at the family’s prim and proper facade, calling them out for egregious behavior that’s being swept under the rug.

The British monarchy being the strongest one in the world, the producer might get in trouble for being too offensive. Is he going to make the prince into an even sassier, royal version of Family Guy‘s ‘Stewie Griffin’?

We also have to remember that Prince George, a real person, he’s also a developing person. As he gets older, it’s safe to assume that George, if he doesn’t already—will be able to grasp what’s being said and posted about, which is why it’s essential to watch what they’re saying and the jokes made about him.
Regardless, we believe that the new series is going to be a treat to watch as Janetti is not the mainstream individual when it comes to making animated series. He goes all out, and people love it.
