On January 7, 2020, Apple TV Plus aroused the interest of its fans by dropping the debut trailer of 'Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet.' The trailer managed to amass over 500,000 views in less than 24 hours on YouTube.

The brand new show is a brainchild of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' c0-actors Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz. 'Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet' is produced by the Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment venture, and Ubisoft The series was first announced at the Ubisoft's E3 press conference and is set to release next month on February 7, 2020.

The series, although titled to sound like an epic video game, is not a fantasy series. However, the comedy series's storyline does have something to do with video games. It displays the frustrating and chaotic environment of a development studio as it prepares to release its first big project.

The nine-episode long series, each episode half-hour long, will be based on the exploration of the human condition in an extremely amusing and fresh way of a video game development studio. The main star Rob McElhenney must feel right at home as he sets out to play a similar character with colossal ego and arrogance as he was in the 2005 series 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.'

'Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet' will be Apple TV Plus's second attempt towards the comedy line, after the streaming service's massive and well-received success of various drama and fantasy series lines up, such as 'SEE' starring Jason Mamoa.
Apple TV Plus is attracting a lot of talent, with several billion dollars being channeled into its content per year. Yet still, the streaming service failed to make its mark in their first Golden Globe Awards despite receiving three major nominations and yielding no wins. As to what impact the series will have in the box office, only time will tell.
