On February 18, 1944, Pat Bowlen was born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He was the American majority owner of two football clubs, the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. 

Bowlen served as the Broncos CEO from his purchase of the club in 1984 until July 2014, when he stepped down as Broncos' CEO due to the onset and progression of Alzheimer's disease. 

Pat Bowlen Was Married Twice in His Life

Pat Bowlen was married to two women in his life. He first got married to a woman named Sally Parker. Even though they had decades of togetherness and had a couple of children, he divorced his formal wife, Parker, while he was in relation with another woman.

Later on, a year later, Bowlen gets married to Annabel Parker. She, later on, kept her husband's surname and changed her name to Annabel Bowlen. She used to work as an attorney for Edmonton, his father's company. she worked for more than 30 years.

Annabel and her husband shared a strong bond, and the way they were standing with each other in every aspect of life did not hint at the possibility of divorce till the death of Pat Bowlen.

On June 13, 2019, Pat died of a pulmonary embolism. Under terms set before Bowlen's death, Joe Ellis led a three-person trust representing his estate. Bowlen's intent was for his seven children to inherit the franchise, though he did not specify which of them would have first right.

Pat Bowlen was born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. His father was Paul Dennis Bowlen, and his mother was Arvella. Bowlen's family was Catholic, so he spent his childhood in Alberta. He then attended a Catholic Jesuit boarding school 'Campion High School' in his native land Wisconsin. 

Bowlen later completed his degrees in business  in1965 and in law after 2 years from the same university University of Oklahoma. During his time at Oklahoma, he played for the Oklahoma Sooners freshman football team and for the Edmonton Huskies junior football team.

Pat became a millionaire in the Canadian oil business, founding Regent Drilling as a wildcatter. The oil company is now owned by his brother John. The younger Bowlen became wealthier by becoming a successful lawyer in Edmonton, Alberta.
