He changed his eating habits, cutting down the consumption of unhealthy junk and processed food products to eating healthy and organic vegetables and fruit items. He completely avoided food products high in carbohydrate content and limited his alcohol intake.
Additionally, Jon Miller supplemented his healthy diet plan with a daily dose of physical exercise. Even in his sixties, Jon knew the importance of physical activity in maintaining a healthy body and overall well being. Jon Miller graduated from Hayward High School in 1969 and went to study at the College of San Mateo. He took broadcasting classes at college, where he also began his broadcasting career at the college's FM radio station (KCSM-FM) and UHF/PBS TV station (KCSM-TV), which reached much of the Bay Area.
