Diet has been a major factor that has helped Kelly maintain a slim figure all her adult life. The fact that she and her husband quit alcohol three years ago proves that the couple has set out on a completely healthy road. 'We live a healthy lifestyle. We did both quit drinking almost three years ago,' she told Parade in 2020. 'Not that we were sitting around drinking day and night, but I think that there is something about like clean living—maybe that's what did it. Maybe that's the difference.'

Kelly eats clean, has said that she eats simple meals like a sliced chicken breast with sautéed spinach, lemon, and olive oil. 'I eat a very clean diet,' she told ABC News in 2014. 'I have lots of vegetables, I eat protein, but I really don't put a ton of thought into it. It's everything you've read about or heard about in any diet book – don't eat too much crap, and I don't.'

Another thing that includes Kelly's diet routine is that she does not eat in the morning and only does so after the taping of 'Live! With Kelly and Ryan.' 'I never eat breakfast until after the show,' she told Bon Appétit. 'At the host chat desk, I'll have a triple shot skim latte... I find that if I eat beforehand, I'm just making digesting sounds.'
Kelly Ripa has not been maintaining her body weight through proper diet only. She also exercises regularly to burn extra calories in her body. Her workout routine includes running, SoulCycle classes, and the AKT method's cardio-strength classes. According to her trainer Anna, they do arm workouts on a ballet bar, alternating between pulsing in a half plank and pushing off the bar for a power move. To talk about Kelly's workout routine, Women's Health Magazine wrote that she works out at least four times a week, usually with Kaiser, for 60 to 90-minute sessions.
