Sabathia played in 19 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) during his years as an active professional baseball pitcher. The teams he played for were Cleveland Indians, Milwaukee Brewers, and the New York Yankees.

CC Sabathia Has Been Married to Amber Sabathia For Nearly Seventeen Years

CC Sabathia and Amber Sabathia were high school sweethearts, and they started dating in sophomore year of high school. The two had attended Vallejo High School in California.

Later in 2003, CC Sabathia was mugged by two men after an Indians game. The unfortunate event led Sabathia to think about his life, and since then, he decided to utilize the time in his life well. He also did not want to be separated from the love of his life, Amber. So soon after the incident, he asked Amber to marry him. And she accepted.

The two wed in the same year of 2003. They share four children in total, two boys and two girls. The two sons of the couple are Carsten Charles III, born in 2003, and Carter, born in 2010. The lovely daughters of the duo are Jaeden Arie, born in 2005, and Cyia, born in 2008.

The family lived in different places during CC Sabathia's active years. The family lived in Fairfield, California, outside his hometown of Vallejo, California, near San Francisco until he signed with the Yankees. Afterward, they moved to Alpine, New Jersey. Since then, the family has continued living in New York.

I know that sounds so cliched, but it really is -- what I do day to day, my whole world revolves around the four of them.' She is truly a great wife and a great mother and an inspiration to many.
