Orlando Brown is a very well-known American actor, rapper, and singer, who's best known for his role as Eddie Thomas on the popular Disney Channel show, ‘That's So Raven’ (2003–2007). Recently, Brown's been getting into a lot of controversies.
Is Orlando Brown mentally okay?
The actor is currently a tabloid favorite, with his bizarre appearance on Dr. Phil, his DUI case, controversial statements got the Disney star all over the tabloid media. With the overuse of meth and other drugs, the star is currently in an inadequate space, physically, mentally, and financially.
Being in the showbiz is already very stressful, and being a child in the show biz is a whole other thing. We can see a lot of child stars who end up not being able to handle the fame and money, people like Macaulay Culkin, Lindsay Lohan are some of the examples of how a lot of popularity at a young age can ruin you.
Brown's addiction has taken its toll on his mental health. In a controversial video that surfaced in 2018, the actor was shown walking around barefoot with a box of wine in his hands while a man was following him with his camera.

While on Dr. Phil, Brown revealed that he struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, medicating with marijuana, and using crystal meth in the past. "Just the influence and the demons that come with that drug kind of took over," he told Dr. Phil.
His substance abuse seemed to have majorly affected his clarity. Though Brown stated that he was four years sober, his friends told Dr. Phil that it was a lie. It was also noticeable when the actor began speaking about his children.

Ex- Disney star made an outlandish claim that "Wild 'N Out" host Nick Cannon performed oral sex on him while possibly dressed as a woman.
Walking through the aisles of Walmart, Orlando Brown recorded the 34-second black and white video, boldly announcing multiple times, "Nick, you sucked my d***."
After Orlando's video appeared on World Star, Nick Cannon realized he needed to respond to the claims. However, instead of clapping back, he took the opportunity to make the experience a "teachable moment" about mental health.

"This is another crucial example of when we allow our young artists to be prematurely exposed by this demonic business and left out to fend for themselves," Cannon said.

I'm a pretty straight-up guy," he later told the host in response to the claims that he lies often.
