Senate Cory Booker and actress Rosario Dawson work in entirely different fields of interest, but when it comes to love, there are certainly no boundaries. It's been more than a year that the two are dating as they seem quite vocal about it with different interviews and public attendance.

Booker, who announced his presidential campaign on February 2019, had a second thought and ended his run in January 2020. Surprisingly, he was the first-ever African-American senator of New Jersey after serving as the Mayor of Newark. On the other hand, his girlfriend, Rosario Dawson, looks to support fellow politician Bernie Sanders, one could say, Booker's nemesis in the upcoming elections.

Rosario Dawson meanwhile created a name for herself from her acting career in movies and TV shows. Meanwhile, her affiliation in politics isn't new to everyone as she endorsed former president Barack Obama for re-election in 2012. Surprisingly, she even got herself arrested as she protested against President George Bush, back in 2004.

Dawson and Booker Met at a Fundraiser

Well, yes, actress Rosario Dawson and Senate Cory Booker met the first time in 2018 at not so romantic setting, i.e., at a fundraising event. However, the first meeting wasn't that special as one would have expected compared to the second time. The senator is so thankful for Sarah Silverman, who hosted a roof party and gave him the chance to meet Rosario for the second time.

Booker Hopeful for a Marriage

It's certainly a dream for every couple out there to get married one day and establish their own family. And, Senator Cory Booker certainly hopes to tie the knot with her girlfriend Dawson one day. In an interview on the 'Wendy Williams Show', the politician made his intention loud and clear to everyone that he sees the future with Rosario and feels what they have together is very special.

Just like her boyfriend, Rosario also expressed her love to the Democratic party member in an interview with the Washington Post, as she said she is "in love with Cory Booker". Not just interviews, the love between them is quite evident from the Instagram posts of the diva as well.

The power couple of Rosario and Cory started dating from October 2018 but announced their ties only in March 2019. While the marriage isn't fixed yet, they are already familiar with the customs, attending several events together, including the fourth Democratic Debate on October 2019.

The 40-year-old Dawson remains an inspiration to many as she came out of the closet as a member of the LGBT community in February 2020. Dawson Roots for Sanders to Boyfriend

The movie star, Rosario Dawson, dates the former Presidential candidate, Cory Booker, but despite that, she has a history of endorsing his arch-nemesis, Bernie Sanders. Although she isn't endorsing anyone this time around, she urges everyone to exercise their right by voting and be a responsible citizen.

In the 2016 elections, the actress supported Bernie Sanders for the Democratic presidential nominee and speaking on his political rallies. However, this time around, she was rooting her boyfriend Cory instead. But since he withdrew his candidacy, she was quite open about who she was going to vote.
