American former reality TV personality and the founder of Love Wellness, Lo Bosworth, revealed personal traumatic brain injury in her recent emotional Instagram post.
Lauren "Lo" Bosworth, an American former reality TV star, rose to prominence as a cast member of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and The Hills, which documented her and her friends' lives. However, she mostly kept out of the TV spotlight since The Hills ended in 2010.
Although Bosworth stayed away from the television screen, she remained active on social media. She frequently posts pictures and videos of her on Instagram, and recently her post broke the heart of many.
Love Wellness' founder and CEO recently shared an emotional Instagram post. Precisely speaking, she revealed a personal traumatic brain injury she suffered two years ago this month.
According to Bosworth's post, she suffered her injury at a restaurant in lower Manhattan. It happened when a swinging door fell off its hinges and hit her on the head.

She was suddenly rushed to the hospital for medical attention, and Bosworth was hospitalized with a "moderate to severe concussion for months." As per her caption, she had to take weeks off work and had a long road to recovery.
Further, The Real Orange County cast added, "I remember visiting a friend a few weeks later and feeling totally lost on 3rd avenue and 21st street, not knowing which direction to walk in," she explained. "I still struggle to recall words from time to time and get my thoughts out coherently 2 years later."
Except for her head injury Bosworth also revealed that she was later diagnosed with mononucleosis. Moreover, she shared how her injuries sometimes affect her days, "One day I had to put my head down on my desk at work because of sheer exhaustion and fell asleep. I laid in bed for months and months whenever I could while continuing to work full-time at [Love Wellness],"
Besides talking about her accident and her sufferings caused by that incident, Bosworth also explained how her weakness motivates her to eat healthily and stay committed to fitness during the pandemic.
"Long story short, one of the reasons I've been so committed to healthy eating and fitness since the pandemic started is because it took a full year from the head injury + mono for me to be in a place where I could even consider exercising with regularity."
Bosworth concluded her story by writing, "This post is dedicated to my health and your health - precious and sometimes taken for granted. If you have it, take advantage of it. All my love."
